KFC Unveils New Hot Honey Chicken

KFC reveals new, limited-time Hot Honey, which features a slightly spicy sauce of honey blended with mild peppers, as their latest fried chicken flavor.

Like the chain's other flavors (Nashville Hot, Smoky Mountain BBQ, and Georgia Gold), you can get Hot Honey on Extra Crispy fried chicken, Extra Crispy tenders, the Crispy Colonel Sandwich, and Chicken Littles.

KFC recommends pairing Hot Honey chicken with Lipton Brisk Raspberry Tea. According to the chain, "The sweetness and complexity of the raspberry and honey work with the heat from the peppers and the tannins from the tea for a perfect pairing."

With the arrival of new Hot Honey, KFC brings in a new Colonel. This time around, the Colonel is a bear... or rather a bear bottle that you might sometimes find honey stored in.

As a promotion to push the new fried chicken flavor, they're giving away 705 pull-string talking Colonel Bear figurines in a random drawing. You can enter the drawing/sweepstakes by filling out a form at www.kfc.com/adoptacolonelbear through October 10, 2018.

Some of you may remember Hot Honey as it was tested late last year in areas of Virginia and New York.
