The option, which can be had with either a quarter pound fresh-beef patty (or two), Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, or Artisan Grilled Chicken, features seasoned mushrooms, creamy bistro aioli, Swiss cheese, and crispy onion strings on a toasted artisan roll.
Prices vary with location but you can expect it to cost somewhere around $5 ($5.39 here in Los Angeles).
The Mushroom & Swiss option joins the Bacon Smokehouse on the Signature Crafted menu.
McDonald's has previously offered Mushroom & Swiss versions of their since-discontinued Third Pound Angus Burgers as well as Angus Snack Wraps. A Swiss Mushroom Melt Signature Crafted Recipe was offered at select locations last year.
