The seasonal menu includes two new salads and one cake:
- Red, White & Blueberry Salad - Baby spinach topped with grilled chicken, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, and crumbled feta cheese, and served with house-made raspberry vinaigrette. You can substitute broiled shrimp, salmon, steak, or tuna in place of chicken.
- Pesto Chicken Salad - Pulled chicken salad mixed pesto sauce, celery, and diced red onion.
- Iced Lemon Cake - Six layers of lemon cake with six layers of lemon icing.
As a summertime promotion, Newk's will give you a free insulated cooler bag with the purchase of $25 or more from the Express Market grab-and-go section, while supplies last. You can also buy one for $5. Through Labor Day (September 2, 2019), you can bring back the cooler to receive a 15 percent discount on any purchase of $10 or more from the grab-and-go section.
