It sells for $5.39 at my local McDonald's but I received this courtesy of McDonald's.
I don't know if any of you have had this issue, but I've eaten a number of burgers with a Quarter Pounder beef patty since they switched making them to order with fresh beef and have received two (including on this occasion) that have been lukewarm. It makes me think that my local McDonald's is sometimes pre-grilling them (I say sometimes because I've also gotten some that were piping hot). It was moist but not juicy (the piping hots ones were always juicy) and had a loose, coarse texture.
The onions were good for crunch but not flavor.
As a whole, McDonald's Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger was by far my favorite between the two sandwiches on the limited-time, international menu. While the name is a bit cumbersome, they kept it simple and tight with the ingredients. Each component was noticeable in one way or another and there was an enjoyable smokiness throughout. Even with the lukewarm beef patty, I still liked it a lot.
For whatever reason, even though the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger includes bacon and more cheese than the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich, it cost less in my area ($5.39 versus $5.89).
