The chain describes the new chicken offering as "all-natural chicken breasts and breast strips that are dipped in our proprietary Buttermilk batter and perfectly seasoned breading before being fried to a crispy, golden brown that’s still juicy on the inside."
Buttermilk Crispy Chicken is features in eight new menu items:
- Crispy Chicken & Pancakes - Four Buttermilk Crispy Chicken breast strips and three buttermilk pancakes. Served with a choice of Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, or IHOP Sauce. For a limited time, they're offering it at a discounted price of $6.99 at participating locations.
- Crispy Chicken Breakfast Combo - A Buttermilk Crispy Chicken breast, two eggs, four hickory-smoked bacon strips, hash browns, and two buttermilk pancakes. You can choose to have gravy added.
- Crispy Chicken & Waffles - Four Buttermilk Crispy Chicken breast strips and a Belgian waffle. Served with a choice of Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, or IHOP Sauce.
- Signature Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Strips & Fries - Five Buttermilk Crispy Chicken strips served with French fries and a choice of Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, or IHOP Sauce.
- Boneless Buffalo Chicken Strips & Fries - Five Buttermilk Crispy Chicken breast strips tossed in Frank’s RedHot Buffalo sauce and served with a side of French fries and buttermilk ranch dressing for dipping.
- Original Crispy Chicken Sandwich - A Buttermilk Crispy Chicken breast topped with white cheddar cheese, hickory-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle,s and IHOP Sauce on a buttered and grilled Brioche bun. It comes with choice of a side.
- Spicy Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich - A Buttermilk Crispy Chicken breast tossed in Frank’s RedHot Buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and buttermilk ranch on a buttered and grilled Brioche bun. It comes with choice of a side.
Beyond the new menu items, IHOP also has a $5-off deal good on your first IHOP 'n Go online order of $25 or more that is good through September 15, 2019.
