KFC Tests New Plant-Based "Beyond Fried Chicken"

KFC looks into plant-based chicken as a potential menu item with a test of new Beyond Fried Chicken starting August 27, 2019 at one restaurant in the Atlanta, GA area.

Beyond Fried Chicken comes about in partnership with Beyond Meat will be available as nuggets and boneless wings.

Beyond Fried Chicken nuggets come with a choice of dipping sauce, while Beyond Fried Chicken boneless wings are tossed in a choice of either Nashville Hot, Buffalo, or Honey BBQ sauce.

If you're in the Atlanta area, you can find the new dish at the KFC restaurant located at 2637 Cobb Pkwy South East, Smyrna, GA. On August 27, from 10 AM to 6 PM, they're offering a free sample of Beyond Fried Chicken with the purchase of any menu item, while supplies last).

You can expect Beyond Meat nuggets to cost $1.99 for a four-piece order, $6.49 for a six-piece combo meal (with a side and medium fountain drink), and $8.49 for a 12-piece combo meal (with a side and medium drink).

Beyond Meat boneless wings will cost $6 for six-piece order and $12 for a 12-piece order.
