The price varies for both 3.5-oz and 7.5-oz bags. I received this 3.5-oz bag courtesy of Taco Bell.
These are probably the spiciest tortilla chips I've ever eaten and pack more heat than the Reaper Ranch Fries from which they draw their inspiration. The heat was near instantaneous, spread across my tongue quickly, and stuck around for a good bit.
Beyond the tongue-burning sensation, there's a lightly tangy, creamy, and herby ranch flavor but also an extra dimension that felt like what ranch would be if ranch was an aged cheese. It was pretty great.
The chip itself was crispy but not as thin and bubbly as a Dorito tortilla chip. It's also just slightly heartier.
Overall, I quite enjoyed Taco Bell's Reaper Ranch Tortilla Chips and especially recommend it if you're looking for something a good deal spicier than what you typically find in the snack aisle of the grocery store. I really like the flavor but can't eat more than a few at a time as the heat gets fairly uncomfortable in short order.
