The test item features marinated steak, roasted poblano peppers, avocado ranch, and a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, and pepper jack cheese folded in a flour tortilla and grilled.
The Steak and Poblano Quesadilla is a "From Our Cantina" item. "From Our Cantina," is itself a test menu that's meant to give an "elevated dining experience" similar to Taco Bell Cantina locations. They tested a bowl and burrito for the menu earlier this year in the same area. The quesadilla comes with a side of guacamole and nacho chips. It's a fairly similar concept to the Cantina Double Steak Quesadilla they put out for a limited time back when they still had a Cantina menu.
The poblano is a mild but flavorful chili pepper.
The price for Taco Bell's Steak and Poblano Quesadilla is $6.49. You can also get it with grilled, white-meat chicken for $5.49 and as a meatless vegetarian version for $4.49.
