Their turkey contains 40 percent less fat than their seasoned ground beef, which is part of the draw this time of year as people tend to try and eat healthier.
Del Taco first introduced Turkey Tacos in 2014 as a permanent menu item but it was eventually displaced when they added Beyond Meat to the menu.
The Turkey Del Taco consists of seasoned turkey, shredded lettuce, grated cheddar cheese, and chopped tomatoes in a crunchier, bigger shell than their value tacos.
