The new cheese dip features aged Monterey Jack, white cheddar, serrano peppers, poblano peppers, and chipotle peppers, to make for "a smooth queso with just the right amount of spicy kick."
Like the rest of Chipotle's menu, new Queso Blanco is made with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
The chain's previous queso featured a blend of cheese, jalapenos, tomatillos, and spices. It was a little grainy when I tried it.
Queso Blanco was tested in 52 locations across three markets, Dallas, Detroit and San Diego, last year.
