Del Taco Brings Back Jumbo Shrimp for 2020 Lenten Season

Crispy-fried Jumbo Shrimp is back for a limited time at Del Taco for the 2020 Lenten season and can be ordered as part of a taco or burrito. The chain is also running a limited-time two for $4 deal on their regular menu Beer Battered Fish Tacos.

The Jumbo Shrimp Taco features crispy Jumbo Shrimp, Del Taco's secret sauce, shredded cabbage, and pico de gallo folded in a warm flour tortilla and served with a wedge of lime. For a limited time, you can get two for $5.

The Jumbo Shrimp Burrito consists of Jumbo Shrimp, fresca lime rice, shredded cabbage, Del Taco's secret sauce, and pico de gallo, wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.

The Epic Surf & Turf Burrito includes jumbo crispy shrimp, grilled carne asada steak, cabbage, ranch, cilantro lime rice, and pico de gallo, wrapped in a warm, over-sized flour tortilla.

Here in Southern California, they're also testing new Citrus Shrimp Tacos. They feature crispy Jumbo Shrimp, tangy citrus slaw, and hand-sliced avocado folded in a warm corn tortilla.

You can get the shrimp item a la carte or as part of a meal that includes crinkle-cut fries and a drink.
