Review: Jack in the Box - Loaded Tiny Tacos

Jack in the Box's Loaded Tiny Tacos feature mini tacos filled with seasoned meat topped with cheese sauce, lettuce, and taco sauce.

An order includes 15 mini tacos and cost me $4.49.

Basically Loaded Tiny Tacos takes the cheese, lettuce, and taco sauce that you normally find inside of their regular tacos and places them on a pile of Tiny Tacos. A key difference is that the Loaded Tiny Tacos are topped with cheese sauce rather than the slice (or half slice) or American cheese that you normally get in their regular tacos. The change makes Loaded Tiny Tacos the closest thing to nachos that Jack in the Box currently offers.

The warm cheese sauce was creamy, mild, and plentiful. The thick crunchy shell of the mini taco held up pretty well against the heat and moisture. Since each taco contained some slightly spicy meat, you only had to make sure to swipe enough cheese to complete the nacho effect.

The lettuce added a slight watery crunch, while the taco sauce balanced out the savory elements with some tang and heat.

Taken altogether, Jack in the Box's Loaded Tiny Tacos made for an enjoyable twist on your standard nachos. I especially liked the hearty crunch of the taco shells and the fact that you pretty much got some seasoned meat in every bite without having to go hunting for it.
