I bought one for $3.49.
I've tried the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit twice since Wendy's breakfast came out (one was free through their app). The first time, it was juicy as it was fresh from the fryer and the second time, it was merely moist, which is still much better than dry. There was a good thickness to it that ensured a meaty bite. The seasoned crust formed a thin but crispy shell that held up well against the maple honey butter.
The biscuit had a slight layer of dryness at the surface to delineate the crust from the crumb. The crust wasn't flaky so much as it was flecking off like dried paint. Fortunately, it didn't feel or taste like dry paint but it was a little messy to eat. Inside, it was dense, soft, moist, and buttery.
On a side note, my local Wendy's has odd breakfast hours (I don't know if this is true at other locations)--the drive-thru is open for breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 AM but the dining room only opens for breakfast from 9 AM to 10:30 AM (well, now it's not open at all due to the national emergency) but it was certainly confusing as I twice saw people try to enter the dining room before 9 AM (not including myself) and one was about to leave before I told him that the drive-thru was open (the other simply waited in the lot as did I--it was close to 9 at the time).
