Tastykake Orange Mini Donuts feature orange-flavored cake donuts covered in powdered sugar.

For the most part, these taste like mini powdered donuts with a dose of orange flavor. Like many mini donuts, they're slightly on the dry side with a fairly airy crumb. Unlike most mini donuts, they're orange-colored although the even coat of powdered sugar covers the fact until you bite into them.
As far as the taste goes, there's a pleasant and measured orange flavor to the donuts but without the tang of actual oranges. It's the same type of flavor you'd get with orange soda and orange candy.
Overall, Tastykake Orange Mini Donuts offer a nice twist on the standard powdered sugar mini donut for the summer.
