Panera Features Three New Sandwiches and More for Summer 2020

Panera has three new sandwiches on offer this summer including the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich, the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich, and the Chipotle Bacon Melt. They also have a new salad and soup--the BBQ Chicken Salad and Southwest Chicken Tortilla Soup. Here are the details:

- Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich ($8.19 in my area) - Smoked, pulled chicken with BBQ sauce, red onions, Vermont white cheddar, and frizzled onions on Classic White Bread.

- Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich ($9.79) - Seared chicken thighs tossed in teriyaki sauce served with pickled red onions, diced cucumbers, emerald greens, cilantro, and mayo on toasted Artisan Ciabatta.

- Chipotle Bacon Melt ($8.19) - Bacon, smoked Gouda, American cheese, and chipotle mayo on toasted Classic White Bread.

- BBQ Chicken Salad ($10.19) - Chicken, Romaine lettuce, and black bean and corn salsa tossed with BBQ ranch dressing and topped with frizzled onions and a drizzle of apple cider vinegar BBQ sauce.

- Southwest Chicken Tortilla Soup ($6.59) - Chicken, masa, corn, poblano peppers, black beans, and hominy simmered in a roasted tomato and chili broth with lime and cilantro. It comes topped with masa crisps.

Back since spring and well into summer are the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Chicken ($11.19), Summer Corn Chowder ($6.59), and Lemon Drop Cookie ($2.49).
