Einstein Bros. Launches New "Eggels"--Bagel-Shaped Sous Vide Eggs--as Gluten-Free Option

Einstein Bros. gives a different take on a gluten-free "bagel" with the launch of new Sous Vide Eggels, which are sous vide eggs shaped like bagels.

Eggels come in two varieties: Three Meat & Cheese and Veggie Egg White.

The Three Meat & Cheese Eggel features eggs mixed with nitrate-free bacon, turkey sausage, uncured ham, white cheddar cheese, and everything bagel seasoning.

The Veggie Egg White Eggel is a vegetarian option that is made with egg whites, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, spinach, and asiago cheese.

According to the chain, cooking the eggs sous vide keeps them "light and fluffy."

The new menu items sound a lot like Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites but with a bagel shape.

You can find Eggels at participating locations across the country, excluding airport, hotels, and university locations.
