El Pollo Loco Launches New L.A. Mex Burritos

Drawing on their L.A. roots and Mexican heritage, El Pollo Loco comes up with new, limited-time L.A. Mex Burritos.

The L.A. Mex Burritos features three new burritos while also folding in the Chickenless Pollo Burrito that was first introduced earlier this year. Here's what you can expect:

- California Queso Burrito - Citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken with Tapatio fries, handmade guacamole, pinto beans, queso blanco, and house-made pico de gallo wrapped up in a flour tortilla.

- Chicken Tinga Burrito - Lightly-smoky chicken tinga, seasoned rice, pinto beans, sliced avocado,  queso fresco, and house-made pico de gallo wrapped up in a flour tortilla.

- World’s First Keto Burrito - Keto Certified with 10 grams net carbs, it includes flame-grilled chicken, sliced avocado, organic spinach, shredded red cabbage, creamy cilantro dressing, house-made pico de gallo, and crumbled cotija cheese wrapped in a high-fiber, low-carb tortilla.

- Chickenless Pollo Burrito - Plant-based protein shreds simmered in adobo sauce with shredded lettuce, seasoned black beans, queso fresco, sliced avocado, and creamy cilantro dressing wrapped in a flour tortilla. A vegan version is also available.                                 

To promote the new burritos, El Pollo Loco is offering a "buy four, get one L.A. Mex Burrito free" deal for Loco Rewards member through October 27, 2020. They're also offering double Loco Rewards points on all L.A. Mex Burrito purchases throughout the month of September.
