Halo Top Reveals "New and Improved" Recipe for Dairy-Free Frozen Desserts

Halo Top reveals a "new and improved" dairy-free recipe for their line of non-dairy "ice cream" flavors that promises a "smooth and creamy texture and flavor-forward taste."

Halo Top non-dairy flavors are still made with a coconut milk base but they've replaced brown rice protein with fava bean protein for a creamier texture. The change will effect the entire non-dairy line-up with a staggered rollout: This month, new recipe pints of non-dairy Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter Cup, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavors are arriving in stores nationwide, while new recipe pints of Candy Bar, Chocolate, Chocolate Almond Crunch, and Sea Salt Caramel flavors will start appearing in October 2020.

The suggested price on pints of Halo Top's Dairy-Free line is $5.49 and each vegan pint contains 280 to 360 calories and 10 to 20 grams of protein.
