Ortega Debuts New Taco Shells and Tortillas Made with Cauliflower

Calling it "an alternative to traditional corn taco shells and flour tortillas," Ortega debuts new Cauliflower & Corn Taco Shells and Cauliflower & Flour Tortillas. They've also put out new Street Taco Sauces and a Taco Pizza Kit.

Interestingly, the packaging for the new taco shells and tortillas don't tout any particular health benefit for the addition of cauliflower and, looking at the nutritional information doesn't show any notable differences between the cauliflower versions and their more traditional counterparts.

Ortega Street Taco Sauces come in three flavors: Asada 3 Chile & Garlic, Tinga Chipotle Tomato Habanero, and Mojo Chile Lime.

The Taco Pizza Kit includes 2 corn meal pizza crusts, taco sauce, and taco seasoning, which leaves you to add your own protein and toppings. The pizzas take 11 to 15 minutes to cook.
