Pretzel Buns Return to Wendy's as Part of New Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger

Pretzel buns have made their way back onto the Wendy's menu, where you can find them as part of the new ("and improved") Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger, which joins the Made to Crave line.

The Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger features a quarter-pound beef patty, Muenster cheese, three strips of applewood-smoked bacon, smoky honey mustard, warm beer cheese sauce, crispy-fried onions, and pickles on a toasted soft pretzel bun.

They're calling the new pretzel bun, their "softest, signature, best-tasting pretzel bun." Apparently, the secret ingredient is rendered bacon fat buoyed by "Smoky Bacon Type Flavor."

The suggested price on the new burger is $5.69 (may vary). You can also opt to get it with a Homestyle, Spicy, or Grilled chicken filet for $6.19.

From Friday, September 4, 2020 through Monday, September 7, 2020, Wendy's will be offering a free Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger with any Wendy's purchase over $15 on Postmates when you use the code, "PRETZEL".

Pretzel buns were once supposed to be part of Wendy's permanent menu but they were discontinued in 2015 along with the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger.
