I bought one for $2.69.
As you might guess, the Grande Stacker offers a very familiar combination of seasoned beef and cheese that you'll find in a number of menu items at Taco Bell (it's basically the same as the limited-time $1 Stacker offered a while back but with twice the beef). Beef and cheese is one of their core combinations and it works out quite well generally but it's a little uneven here in the Grande Stacker.
Because of the way it was assembled (this probably varies from location to location), my Grande Stacker had about an inch of bare tortilla along the edges with nary a stray strand of cheese. The result was more than a few tasteless, empty tortilla mouthfuls.
The beef was concentrated towards the fold so the bites at that end were plenty flavorful and meaty although the beef overpowered the cheese a good deal there. It was in the middle that provided the best balance of beef and melty, mild cheese.
The outside of the tortilla didn't stay crisp for long but, fortunately, since it's just filled with meat and cheese, you can put it in a pan in short order and toast or fry it up yourself fairly easily.
When it comes down to it, Taco Bell's Grande Stacker is nice enough for a large quesadilla filled with seasoned ground beef that's then folded three additional times and offered on the cheap (a regular Taco Bell quesadilla with double beef would cost at least $4.19 at regular menu prices). That being said, it would probably taste better if you unfold it and massage the fillings around for a more even distribution.
