Popeyes Fries Up New Wicked Shrimp

Popeyes rolls out new Wicked Shrimp and is highlighting the limited-time menu item in a $5 combo.

New Wicked Shrimp features bite-sized, crispy-fried shrimp that have been marinated in the chain's signature Louisiana-style seasonings and a bit of Sriracha sauce.

For $5, you get 14 Wicked Shrimp pieces, an individual side, a biscuit, and Smoky Tartar Sauce for dipping.

Popeyes previously used the "wicked" descriptor for a line of thinly-cut chicken strips that twisted and curled as it fried so perhaps these shrimp are meant to do the same.
