While the arrival coincides with the lead-up to Valentine's Day, February is actually National Heart Health Month and the limited-edition cereals are meant to drive awareness of that (since one of the cereal's selling points is that the whole grain oats in it can "help lower cholesterol as part of a heart-healthy diet." Additionally, Cheerios will be giving away boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios via rebate throughout February 2021, while supplies last.
The limited-time, heart-shaped Cheerios can be found in 10.8-oz boxes for a suggested price of $3.99 and 19.8-oz boxes for a suggested price of $4.99.
The free Honey Nut Cheerios rebate is good up to $7 (excluding tax) and can be redeemed, while supplies last, by scanning your recipe during the month of February at www.freeHoneyNutCheerios.com. The receipt has to be dated somewhere in February but can be uploaded through March 15, 2021.
