The new KFC Chicken Sandwich is made when ordered and features a new quarter-pound double-breaded Extra Crispy chicken breast filet, new thicker crinkle-cut pickles, and a choice of either mayo or spicy sauce on a toasted brioche bun.
Similar to Popeyes' Chicken Sandwich (and KFC's previous chicken sandwich), the KFC Chicken Sandwich carries a suggested price of $3.99. It's also available as part of a combo meal alongside an order of Secret Recipe Fries and a medium drink for a suggested price of $6.99.
To help you locate the sandwich while it's rolling out, KFC has a "find the sandwich" page set up on their website that's updated daily and includes a "notify me" function that you can set up to let you know by email when it's available near you.
The new chicken sandwich arrives with only about three years since KFC's previous chicken sandwich was introduced in early 2018. In comparison, the KFC Chicken Sandwich appears to have a larger chicken filet (by 20 percent without an increase in price), better pickles, and an improved bun versus the previous version, the Crispy Colonel.
