Cajun Rice and Green Beans Get the Boot from Popeyes

Cajun Rice and Green Beans have been discontinued from the Popeyes menu.

Cajun Rice was a fairly unique side that drew upon the chain's Louisiana roots and isn't typically found at fast food chains. Popeyes described it as "Cajun-spiced rice with authentic New Orleans–seasoned meats and herbs."

Green Beans are a bit more common but Popeyes made theirs with turkey bacon.

With the change, Popeyes' current side options are down to:

- Cajun Fries
- Mashed Potatos with Gravy
- Red Beans and Rice
- Coleslaw
