For $29.99, you get a 2.5-lb. box of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups straight from the factory where they were made. Shipping (with stay cool packing) is included for free.
For comparison, a 54-oz box (3.8 lbs.) of regular Reese's Peanut Butter Cups is currently $26.14 on Amazon. A 2.5-lb. box comes out to 40 oz. (a 14-oz difference).
You can pre-order the Direct from the Factory Reese's from the Hershey's online store here.
I've tried the "Direct from the Factory" Reese's Peanut Butter Cups before and, as you might expect, they're mostly the same as the Reese's from the store but generally fresher. The fresher aspect really only means one thing--the peanut butter is moist (sometimes the regular store-bought ones have powdery dry peanut butter). That's not to say you won't find Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on store shelves with moist peanut butter, it's just consistently so from the factory because of the product's age (or lack thereof).
