I paid $2.29 for one.
The donut is about the same size as a bagel but is subpar as far as donuts go. The air bubbles are fairly tight and uniform for a raised donut, and it leans a little towards more of a cake donut feel. Usually, yeast donuts are airier with more varied bubbling to the crumb (interior). Furthermore, the donut was not all that fresh. It's a little drier and not as pliant. I would put it at the same level as a generic store-bought donut.
With only cinnamon-sugar on top, the result is a milder sweet cinnamon flavor than you'd typically get with a cinnamon-sugar donut or a churro, as both are typically tossed or rolled entirely in cinnamon-sugar.
The sweet cream cheese frosting gives it more of a dessert bagel or cupcake vibe. It's sweet and creamy with a little bit of tang.
When it comes down to it, Einstein Bros. Churro Party Bagel turned out just okay and didn't deliver much on the churro front. I was looking for a stronger hit of cinnamon-sugar and maybe a bit of a crispy factor. They might have been better off just toasting one of their French Toast bagels and tossing it in cinnamon-sugar.
