Levain Cookies Rolling Out to Whole Foods Nationwide

Levain Bakery, which is a regular fixture on "best cookies" lists in the US and New York, are currently rolling out their cookies to Whole Food stores nationwide.

Levain cookies are notable for their size and thickness with a crispy exterior and a gooey interior.

The packaged cookies are fully baked and then frozen. They come in 16-oz packages of eight 2-oz cookies (the cookies you can buy from the bakery are much larger at about 6 ounces) for $9.99 (may vary). They're made using the same recipes as Levain Bakery (i.e. they contain no additives, preservatives, or stabilizers) and heat up in 5 to 7 minutes.

Whole Foods will carry three varieties: Chocolate Chip Walnut, Two Chip Chocolate Chip, and new Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip (a Whole Foods exclusive).
