Shake Shack Offers Limited-Time Avocado Add-On for Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches

Shake Shack adds the limited-time option to add avocados to any of their burgers or chicken sandwiches this spring. The fresh-sliced avocados are featured with bacon in the new Avocado Bacon Burger and new Avocado Bacon Chicken sandwich.

The Avocado Bacon Burger is a cheeseburger topped with sliced avocado, Niman Ranch applewood-smoked bacon, and ShackSauce on a potato bun.

The Avocado Bacon Chicken Sandwich consists of a crispy-fried chicken breast, lettuce, pickles, sliced avocado, Niman Ranch applewood-smoked bacon, and ShackSauce on a potato bun.

Prices vary but the Avocado Bacon Chicken goes for $8.79 in my area, while a single-patty Avocado Bacon Burger costs $7.89 ($10.69 for the double). Adding avocado to any other burger/sandwich tacks on an extra $1.25.
