Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Revamps Chicken Sandwich Offerings with Launch of New Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwiches

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's look to keep up with the fast food Joneses by launching the new Hand-Breaded Chicken menu featuring three new chicken sandwiches:

- Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich - A hand-breaded, crispy-fried chicken breast filet served with deli pickles and mayo on a toasted potato bun.

- Hand-Breaded Chicken & Waffle Breakfast Sandwich - A hand-breaded, crispy-fried chicken breast filet and Maple Butter Glaze served between two halves of a Belgian waffle.

- Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit (Hardee's only) - A hand-breaded, crispy-fried chicken breast filet served on a Hardee's Made from Scratch buttermilk biscuit.

According to Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, the new Hand-Breaded Chicken features "a crispy exterior and savory, complex interior" with chicken that's "marinated in 13 signature seasonings and dipped in buttermilk before going through a 6-step hand-breading process in Southern-style flour" before taking a dip in the deep-fryer.

The Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich replaces the Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich. The new chicken filet is also found in Carl's Jr.'s Bacon Swiss Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich.
