It carries a suggested price of $1 but it goes for $1.49 at my local Taco Bell.
There really wasn't any surprises here as seasoned beef and/or some form of cheese can be found in most Taco Bell menu items and they've already offered beef, cheese, and potatoes (plus Creamy Chipotle sauce) earlier this year. The Gordita flatbread makes a nice appearance though as currently you can only otherwise get it as part of the Cheesy Gordita Crunch or as a custom order. It added a pillowy spongy texture versus their regular flour tortilla.
The seasoned beef is pretty much the signature flavor of Taco Bell with a savory, salty flavor that's the main driver of the Beefy Potato Flatbread Taco.
The potato bites filled out the Gordita shell well so that they wasn't much in the way of bites that were only flatbread. There usually not very crispy when I get them and it was no different on this occasion. They have a similar seasoning to the beef so you get a different texture and a touch of potato flavor here.
The nacho cheese added a mild, creamy flavor and was definitely heavier on one side of my Flatbread Taco than the other.
When it comes down to it, Taco Bell's Beefy Potato Flatbread Taco feels like the plainer of the two Flatbread Tacos they currently have out. It definitely felt very familiar as seasoned beef and cheese are the main flavors here. If your go-to at Taco Bell is anything with "Beefy Potato" in the name, I doubt you'll be disappointed (especially for a buck).
