Burger King Tests New, Plant-Based Impossible Nuggets

Burger King partners with Impossible Foods to test new, plant-based Impossible Nuggets at select locations in the Des Moines, IA, Boston, MA, and Miami, FL areas starting Monday, October 11, 2021.

According to the chain, the plant-based alternative to chicken nuggets features "a golden-brown crispy breading on the outside and a tender, juicy bite on the inside." They come in an 8-piece order with your choice of dipping sauce. While the nuggets themselves at plant-based, they're cooked in the same oil as meat and cheese products.

Burger King has worked with Impossible Foods before in introducing the Impossible Whopper (which features the plant-based Impossible patty) to the menu back in 2019.
