During the test, you can substitute an Impossible Burger patty for $1 or $1.50 extra per patty (varying with location) on any burger on the Jack in the Box core menu, including the Ultimate Cheeseburger, Classic Buttery Jack, Jumbo Jack, and more.
The Impossible Burger patty is meant to cook, taste, and feel like a regular beef burger patty. It contains a similar amount of protein as a standard beef burger patty but with 0mg cholesterol. The Impossible Burger is made with soy protein, coconut oil, sunflower oil, potato protein, and heme.
Of Jack in the Box's major chain competitors, Burger King notably offers the Impossible Burger patty on their Impossible Whopper nationally.
