An order of eight cost me $1.49.
Burger King's Ghost Pepper Nuggets were moderately spicy with a heat that lingered in my mouth a fair bit. It built up somewhat as I ate the chicken nuggets but never got uncomfortable. I would say they're a step up in terms of heat from Burger King's Spicy Chicken Nuggets although they look exactly the same.
The breading was nice and crispy with a granular breadcrumb texture flecked with occasional bits of flaky panko or the like.
There's n light, seasoned flavor to the nuggets--just enough to make them enjoyable on their own but not so much that it gets in the way of dipping them in sauce.
The chicken inside was moist and finely ground. As with most chicken nuggets, there's not a lot of flavor to the chicken but it's substantial enough to add a meaty texture inside.
The bottom-line is Burger King's Ghost Pepper Chicken Nuggets are just an incrementally spicier version of their Spicy Chicken Nuggets, which is to say they're super cheap and a step up from frozen chicken nuggets that you heat in the oven but didn't set my mouth on fire.
