Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Tests New Candied Bacon Line-up

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's tests a number of menu items featuring new Candied Bacon for a limited time at select locations in: Bakersfield, CA; Champaign-Springfield, IL; and Dothan, AL.

The new Candied Bacon being tested consists of applewood-smoked bacon coated with caramelized brown sugar and pepper at each location.

The Candied Bacon line-up includes

- Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg (Carl’s Jr.) - Candied bacon, American cheese, and a freshly-cracked fried egg served on a buttermilk biscuit. It carries a suggested price of $3.49 (may vary with location). 

- Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg (Hardee’s) - Candied bacon, American cheese, and a freshly-cracked fried egg served on a Made from Scratch Biscuit. It carries a suggested price of $3.49 (may vary with location). 

- Candied Bacon Angus Thickburger - A charbroiled 1/3-lb. 100% Angus beef patty, four strips of candied bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mild garlic mayo, served on a toasted potato bun. The suggested price on the burger is $5.49 (may vary).

- Candied Bacon Snack Pack - A portable pack of new Candied Bacon for on-the-go snacking. The suggested price is $2.49 (may vary).
