McDonald's Serves Up New Tempura Shrimp Burgers in Taiwan

McDonald's serves up new Tempura Shrimp Burgers as a limited-time premium burger offering over in Taiwan that features one or two pieces of deep-fried shrimp tempura in each burger.

The shrimp tempura consists of whole Pacific white prawns dipped in tempura batter and then deep-fried. Like when you order shrimp tempura at a Japanese restaurant, there's still the tail sticking out of each piece.

McDonald's Tempura Shrimp Burgers come in two varieties: Fried Shrimp Tempura Black Angus Beef and Double Fried Shrimp Tempura.

The Fried Shrimp Tempura Black Angus Beef Burger comes with one piece of shrimp tempura served along with a 4-oz Angus beef patty, cheese, leaf lettuce, and a lemon dill aioli on a toasted bun.

The Double Fried Shrimp Tempura Burger includes two pieces of shrimp tempura, cheese, leaf lettuce, and lemon dill aioli on a toasted bun.

Both burgers can be found at McDonald's restaurants in Taiwan through December 28, 2021, while supplies last.
