While the suggested price is $2, it's $2.49 near me.
I didn't ask to get the burrito grilled as it's not grilled in the product photo but it came grilled, which is always a plus in my book as I appreciate the added texture and flavor.
The beans and rice were the primary base of the burrito with a light seasoned earthy flavor from the beans and a slightly bolder flavor from the rice.
As the black beans are a good deal milder than Taco Bell's standard seasoned beef, other components stood out more. Particularly, the cheese and guacamole came across quite well. I could actually taste the cheddar of the cheese blend as well as tangy, rich notes from the guacamole.
Ingredients that didn't fare as well were the tomatoes, which got lost taste-wise and the tortilla strips, which were soft.
The Creamy Chipotle sauce was a bit unevenly distributed as I only got a punch of smoky heat at the tail end of the burrito. The sour cream seemed a bit redundant but added extra creaminess and tang.
Overall, Taco Bell's Fiesta Veggie Burrito offers up a good variety of well-balanced flavors that actually managed to showcase some normally minor players.
