El Pollo Loco Launches New Mexican Shredded Beef Birria

El Pollo Loco embraces the growing popularity of quesabirria/red tacos in launching new Mexican Shredded Beef Birria as a new seasoned and braised protein featured in three new menu items:

- Shredded Beef Birria Stuffed Quesadilla - Mexican Shredded Beef Birria, Jack cheese, fresh avocado, diced onions, and cilantro folded in a flour tortilla and grilled.

- Shredded Beef Birria Burrito - Mexican Shredded Beef Birria, cheese, sour cream, rice, beans, cabbage, chopped onions, and cilantro wrapped up in a flour tortilla and grilled.

- Shredded Beef Birria Crunchy Tacos - Two crunchy taco shells filled with Shredded Beef Birria, Jack cheese, chopped onion, and cilantro. 

Each entree comes with birria consome for dipping. It's described as a "savory beef broth with garlic, chili, and lime." Typically, it's the broth the beef is cooked in.

Mexican Shredded Beef Birria can be found on the El Pollo Loco menu for a limited time through June 1, 2022.
