It goes for $7.49 (a buck more than a regular Papadia), but I received this courtesy of Papa John's.
A Papadia is essentially a folded thin-crust pizza but turns out pretty well with a crisped crust that's made even crispier by the nutty, salty layer of toasted parmesan cheese.
The fillings aren't abundant but there was a decent amount of salty meatiness from the Italian sausage and salami paired with creamy, melty, mild cheese. The salami was very thin and slightly chewy but offered a fatty, salty flavor while the Italian sausage had a seasoned flavor and a moist, springy, coarsely-ground texture.
There were a bit too many pickled banana peppers, however, as it pushed a very insistent tangy note throughout that I found a bit unpleasant and made the pizza sauce dipping cup feel largely unnecessary.
Overall, I mostly enjoyed the form and flavor of Papa John's Italian Parmesan Crusted Papadia. I found the additional flavor and texture of the parmesan crust worth the extra dollar but would forgo the banana peppers if I got it again or would just opt for one of the other varieties.
