I paid $3.99 for one.
There wasn't all that much steak to my burrito. I only saw one or two bits in each cross section after biting and only one piece gave a decent steak-like chew.
There was a lot of sour cream to the burrito but it was fairly mild in both creaminess and tang. Mostly, it just melded into the chipotle sauce, which was the main flavor driver throughout the burrito and gave it a smoky, spicy, creamy tang. Unfortunately, everything else got mostly lost in the process.
Despite there being both nacho cheese and shredded cheese in the burrito, there wasn't all that much cheesiness going on. The shredded cheese in particular either just melted into the nacho cheese or was very lightly sprinkled in the burrito (or was plain missing).
The tomatoes were there but they didn't do much against the chipotle sauce either.
The fries were the most abundant component of the burrito but mostly supplied a soft potato texture and mild potato flavor. The crispy texture didn't quite make it in the moist confine and the seasoning didn't fare better. It felt a lot like the chain's Fiesta Potatoes in a burrito but with a different shape.
Overall, Taco Bell's Steak Nacho Fries Burrito was a miss for me. While I generally like Taco Bell's chipotle sauce, eating the burrito was mostly like eating chipotle sauce in varying textures. I would have preferred eating the filling as nacho fries in a bowl or plate and would have liked a lot more cheese.
