A 16-oz tray makes 24 small cookies and goes for a suggested price of $2.99 but I received this courtesy of Nestle.
These are pretty easy to make they come in semi-cut cubes so that you can just break off however many you feel like baking. I just use the toaster oven to bake a few at a time. It only takes about 10 minutes or so for some fresh cookies.
Let them cool a bit and the surface crisps up pretty nicely while remaining a little gooey inside for that textural contrast.
There's not an abundance of chocolate chips to the cookies but there's enough to deliver a decent chocolaty flavor in most bites (considering you can easily eat them in one bite or two).
The pastel egg sprinkles come on top of the dough. The distribution was fairly uneven but it's easy enough to pick them off and place/squish them on whichever cookie you like prior to baking. If they happen to fall off or sit at the edge of the cookie, they toast and dry out a bit for a crumbly texture. Otherwise, they add an enjoyable creamy sweetness to each cookie.
Overall, Nestle Toll House Easter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough turns out some pretty good, fresh-baked cookies. They're crisp and gooey with a slight brown sugar flavor balanced with melty chocolate and creamy (creme-y?) egg sprinkles.
