The roll-out follows a test early this year in Colorado, Illinois, and Ohio.
Leanguini was developed by the Noodles & Company culinary team and is meant to have the same taste and texture of regular linguini but "56% fewer net carbs and 44% higher protein than traditional wheat pasta noodles."
The chain is featuring Leanguini in a new dish, Leanguini Lemon Parmesan, which sees the "better-for-you" noodles served in a lemon parmesan sauce along with roasted zucchini, tomatoes, and spinach, and topped with parmesan and parsley.
Leanguini is also available to substitute in any of the chain's other dishes for an upcharge of $1 (may vary).
