Popeyes Brings Back Cajun Rice for Limited Time

Popeyes brings back Cajun Rice at participating locations nationwide for a limited time in celebration of the chain's 50th anniversary.

The side item was discontinued from the regular menu last year and features rice made with Cajun and Creole seasonings mixed together with a number of ingredients, including "Cajun meat," bell pepper, onion, garlic, celery, and cayenne.

Cajun Rice is also known as "dirty rice" or "rice dressing" and is a Louisiana Creole dish that's considered a staple of Southern cuisine.
