The Nintendo creations draw inspiration from three Nintendo video games: Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Mario Party Superstars, respectively. Each comes in a limited-edition, Nintendo-themed Gotta Have It cup, while supplies last. Here's what you can expect from each Creation:
- The Mighty Pink Puff Creation - Strawberry ice cream folded with strawberries, mini marshmallows, and caramel.
- Island Getaway Creation - Chocolate ice cream folded with strawberries, bananas, and whipped topping.
- Superstar Sprinkle Blast Creation - Cake batter ice cream folded with yellow cake, blue frosting, and rainbow sprinkles. This was previously offered as Mario's Super Birthday Blast Creation.
The game-inspired cake is the Rainbow Sprinkle Road Cake, which features layers of yellow cake and sweet cream ice cream with rainbow sprinkles wrapped in blue frosting. The cake comes decorated with Mario and Luigi figurines on top as well as a sprinkle road. It's basically the same as the Rainbow Road Rally Cake from 2020 but with regular rainbow sprinkles instead of star-shaped ones.
You can find the Nintendo Creations and ice cream cake at Cold Stone Creamery locations nationwide for a limited time through September 30, 2022.
