McDonald's Canada Serves Up New Bacon, Egg & Jalapeno Cheddar McMuffin

If you've been hoping for a spicy breakfast sandwich from McDonald's, you might try hopping over the border to Canada, where the chain is serving up the new Bacon, Egg & Jalapeno Cheddar McMuffin for a limited time.

McDonald's Canada's Bacon, Egg & Jalapeno Cheddar McMuffin offers a fresh-cracked egg, hickory-smoked bacon, creamy jalapeno sauce, and a slice of jalapeno-laced marble cheddar cheese on a toasted English muffin. An Egg & Jalapeno Cheddar McMuffin is also available.

But that's not all, McDonald's also offers another spicy breakfast sandwich in Canada--the Spicy Habanero Bacon 'N Egg McMuffin features a fresh-cracked egg, spicy habanero sauce, hickory-smoked bacon and a slice of processed cheddar cheese on a toasted English muffin. There's also a version with a crispy-fried chicken patty instead of bacon and eggs (a Chicken McMuffin is a standard breakfast item in Canada).

Here in the US, the only heat you'll find on the McDonald's breakfast menu currently might be the salsa for the Sausage Burrito.
