The product name is a combination of "fiber" and "being" and looks like its meant to highlight that each 4-piece serving provides 39% of the daily recommended intake of dietary fiber (11g) and contains 4g of sugar and 0g of sugar alcohol. According to Morinaga, uses inulin, prebiotic dietary fiber, and "other unique formulations, instead of sugar alcohol to partially replace the candy's sugar content.
At launch, Fi-Being comes in two flavors: Passionfruit and Elderberry.
