An 8-oz package of four cookies goes for a suggested price of $3.99 but I received this courtesy of Nestle.
These turned out pretty nicely out of the oven. They're bigger and thicker than regular Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies (the 3x bigger on the box sounds about right) but offer the same flavor but with the addition of the fudge filling.
The cookie itself had a nice crispy layer at the surface but was moist and crumbly within. The chocolate chips weren't abundant but there was enough to provide a sweet, melty chocolaty flavor throughout that went well with the slightly caramelized flavor of the cookie.
The filling inside was moderately gooey and melty with a sweet and decently chocolaty flavor. There was enough thickness to it that it didn't gush out of the cookie. You may want to let the cookies cool more than you normally would as the fudge filling is going to retain more tongue-burning heat than a traditional cookie.
Overall, Nestle Tollhouse Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling made some pretty good cookies. They're not particularly rich but offer the requisite chocolate chip cookie flavors with varied and enjoyable textures.
