A party-size 12.5-oz bag carries a suggested price of $6.29 but I received this courtesy of Kettle Brand.
Opening the bag yielded the mostly the oil and potato aroma of kettle-cooked potato chips rather than the vinegary tang of Buffalo sauce or funk of bleu cheese.
The chips were orange and lightly-speckled in a way that reminded me of BBQ-flavored potato chips. As with most kettle-cooked potato chips, there's a thicker, heartier crunch to them.
Flavor-wise, I picked up a light, savory, and tangy Buffalo flavor with a rather mild amount of spicy heat to go with just a hint of bleu cheese over a robust fried potato flavor.
While Kettle Brand Tailgate Edition Buffalo Bleu Potato Chips wouldn't qualify as a bold flavor, they're quite enjoyable as a crunchy potato chip tinged with an accessible Buffalo sauce and bleu cheese flavor. As such, if you're looking for an intense Buffalo sauce and/or bleu cheese flavor, you might find yourself disappointed here.
