A 4.41-oz box cost me $2.49.
The wafer rolls themselves were fairly plain in flavor but offered a satisfying, multi-layered, fragile crispness. There's a delicate airiness to the wafers that's somewhat similar to the wafers in a Kit-Kat bar.
The dark chocolate was smooth with a mildly bittersweet flavor. It wasn't particularly rich but was still tasty and delivered enough flavor for each wafer roll despite only covering half the roll.
Overall, Aldi's Deutche Kuche ("German Kitchen" in German) Dark Chocolate Wafer Rolls work really well if you're into cookies with a lot of crispy layers and an enjoyable dark chocolate flavor.
