New AMC Popcorn Lands at Walmart

If you've been hoping to take the taste of AMC Theatres popcorn home with you, the largest theater chain in the US partners with Walmart to launch a new line of  microwave and ready-to-eat popcorn.

The new line is meant to taste just like popcorn at AMC Theatres and consists of six products at launch, including:

- Three flavors of microwave popcorn: Classic Butter, Extra Butter (includes buttery topping packets to mimic the movie theater experience), and Lightly Salted.

- The same three flavors of ready-to-eat popcorn: Classic Butter, Extra Butter, and Lightly Salted.

You can find select varieties of the new AMC popcorn at select Walmart stores starting March 11, 2023 with a wider release at over 2,600 Walmart stores and the Walmart website starting in April 2023. AMC also expects wider distribution of the new line later this year.

Prices for the retail popcorn products are expected to come out to $4.98 for a 6-count package of microwave popcorn and $3.98 for the ready-to-eat popcorn, which comes in bags ranging form 4.2- to 5.2-oz in size.
